There’s a huge opportunity to make a difference when you partner with Lycoming Foster Care.
We are looking for strong foster families who are willing to provide our local children in need with a family. Our goal is to keep Lycoming County children in our community. We invite you to be difference-makers and teachers. We ask that you show a child — and their family — how to be successful in life.
Meet a few of the people we’ve served and who have partnered with us at Lycoming Foster Care.

Jacob has the tools to succeed
Jacob Collins is thankful for the support of Lycoming Foster Care and the loving care of his foster family, Linda and Joe Tokay.
Thanks to them, Jacob graduated high school early and is attending college, studying computer sciences, with the goal of obtaining an IT job in New York City, or operating his own server farm when he graduates.
Who makes a good partner? you.
Lycoming Foster Care works hard to keep Lycoming County children in Lycoming County. We're looking for strong, stable and loving adults and families who can take in a local child in need and give them support, care and social skills to be successful in life.
honoring the impact of joe and linda tokay
Last year, Joe and Linda Tokay were recognized at the 2018 Pennsylvania Permanency Conference as recipients of the Permanent Family Recognition Award.
Joe and Linda have been resource parents with Lycoming Foster Care for 21 years, and are an absolute asset to our Agency, providing care to more than 50 children during their time as resource parents. Joe and Linda are always willing to give any child a try, no matter how difficult the behaviors or issues exhibited are. On top of being wonderful resource parents, the Tokays have provided permanency in the form of adoption and SPLC to 6 children in their tenure as resource parents. Over the years, Joe and Linda have also become a support to other resource parents with Lycoming Children and Youth.
Thank you Joe and Linda, this award and recognition is well deserved.
